The two-part works are of the same motif, but they are photographed differently. By playing with composition, shape, colour and perspective the diptychs show that photography is an interpretation rather than a true depiction of reality. What we see when we look at a photograph is determined by the context and by technical and subjective decisions made by the photographer.
