Kunstrukt is an initiative that was established to develop creative projects and workshops by the Danish // Turkish artist duo, Lone Eriksen and Deniz Ozlu. They are based in Copenhagen and Istanbul.
Kunstrukt is their collective story based on a decade of academic and practical experience. // They started to develop Kunstrukt, in the beginning of 2015 four years after they met doing a Masters in Visual Art at Goldsmiths University, London.
// Lone Eriksen received a BA in Photography from the London College of Communication in 2008 and an MA in Visual Art from Goldsmiths University, London in 2010. She has subsequently been working as a fine art and commercial photographer and as an art educator in London and Copenhagen.
// Deniz Ozlu has been practicing visual arts and design since she got her BFA in Communication Design from Parsons School of Design, New York in 2005. She got her Masters degree in Visual Art from Goldsmiths University, London in 2010 and has been working as a lecturer at Istanbul Bilgi University since 2012.
